Who we are

NSP Architectural ("we", "us", "our") is a residential architectural design practice based in Essex. You can contact us at 01702 412142 or via WhatsApp on 07418 632085. We are the data controller for the personal information you provide to us.

What personal data we collect

We collect personal data when you:

• Submit an enquiry or contact form (name, email address, phone number, postcode, project details)
• Request a quote using our online quote tool
• Contact us directly by phone, email or WhatsApp

We also collect anonymised technical data via cookies and analytics tools (see the Cookies section below).

How we use your data

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your enquiry and discuss your project
• Prepare and send a project quotation or cost estimate
• Manage our ongoing working relationship with you
• Comply with our legal obligations

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it to third parties.

Lawful basis for processing

We process your data under the following lawful bases as defined by UK GDPR:

• Legitimate interests, to respond to enquiries and provide quotations before a contract is in place
• Contract, to fulfil our obligations where we have been engaged to carry out work
• Legal obligation, where we are required to retain records for HMRC or other regulatory purposes

How long we keep your data

We retain client and enquiry data for up to 6 years from our last contact, in line with standard business and tax record requirements. If no project proceeds, we will delete your data within 2 years of your initial enquiry. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services which may process your data:

• Google Analytics, anonymous website usage statistics. See Google's privacy policy.
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you contact us via WhatsApp, Meta's privacy policy applies to that communication.
• GetReviews, we display client reviews via the GetReviews widget. Their privacy policy applies to any data they collect.
• Cloudflare, used for website security and performance. Cloudflare may collect technical data such as IP addresses.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies for the following purposes:

• Functional cookies, essential for the website to work correctly (for example, form security tokens)
• Analytics cookies, Google Analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site. These are anonymised and do not identify you personally.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access, request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification, ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure, ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
• Restriction, ask us to pause processing your data while a dispute is resolved

• Object, object to processing based on legitimate interests

Complaints
